Opera - REMOVE the google search box from the default speed dial.
Remove google crap search box from Opera default speed dial. (Advanced - Power User Mode)
First open settings, then click your left mouse button anywhere on the right in any open area.
Then using your arrow keys press these:
"Up Up Down Down Left Right Left Right" then type b a "↑ ↑ ↓ ↓ ← → ← → b a"
A box will open to let you into the Power User Mode.
Then check the "Always show power user settings" box bottom left.
Update March 2019
You no longer need to turn on the "Power User" options to disable google NOT a search engine.
I will leave the code up just in case they ever change it back. :)
Now you can disable that crap joke of a search (get what they want you to find) engine. Baffles the mind that some people still use google? LOLOL
Then choose a real search engine one that lets you find what you're looking for.
