LOL Next I'm not an expert but I have been mining, testing, reading and researching just for this post for about a month. There are so many ways to mine crypto-currency it gets super confusing so I will list the easiest ways for a beginner. You can mine in your browser, with a phone (not iphones they only have one cpu and most no gpu's), tablet, laptop, desktop... Will you make any money? Well probably not unless you have free electricity. If you have solar and your electric company doesn't steal your kwh's (SCE says 500kwh's per month but the solar company says 1500 to 1600kwh's per month) you can mine a few hours a day for free.Next you want to mine in LARGE mining pools. Working as a group you have a much chance of finding and completing jobs! One of the reasons I really like Minergate XMR Monero Pool can be as high as 74,000 miners!I will start with the easiest GUI application... less

Some pay you faster but when you withdraw your coins OUCH. LOLOk first some basic Dos commands most of these also work for Linux Terminal Windows. Some of these miners only start in a terminal or dos windows. For Dos everything is right click run as admin. For linux everything is sudo most Linus users won't need much help. :) lolSo download the miner you want unzip it (claymore will be super annoying) rename the folder to something easy.bminer - bminer lol claymore-...-...-...-...-...-...-...-...-...-...-...-...-.. to claymore-eth-v11.8 (I replace eth with the coin I'm mining)Move it to your desktop (I don't again annoying I have NOTHING on my desktops) so I COPY it to C:\ in Windows anda Miners folder in Linux. When you open a command prompt (Dos Window) it will most likely look like this:C:\WINDOWS\system32> type cd\ hit enter so it will look like this C:\WINDOWS\system32>cd\Now... less

Like rightnow BCN is at $0.0207 (2 cents) but everywhere else it's at $0.03014 (3 cents) so you buy here and sell onanother! LOL https://www.binance.com less

But I am a SUPER geek and I have build so many custom things just to get in the top 10 on futuremark or in the old days to get to first place! (Futuremark benchmarking the faster user computers in the world)1.) Which operating system to install?2.) Which motherboard?3.) Which CPU?4.) Which memory?5.) Which power supply?6.) Which hard drive?7.) Which video cards and how many?8.) What to mine?9.) How to build the system with racks to hold the video cards, motherboard, hard drive, power supply...I will go over these one at a time.1.) Which OS:Well there are limits and it depends on which CPU, how many video cards are you going to use. Linux has no limit on video cards you can use use as many as you like! But make sure Linux drivers work for the cards! I haven't had a problem with any Nvidia cards 750 to 1080's all work. But AMD/ATI cards no so much. :( Windows 7 you... less

CPU's can mine but unless you have a very fast one it will take a year to make $10. :)All the cards have a 100 MHz overclock on memory only. There wasn't enough gain going above 100 MHz to be worthkilling the video cards. (you will see a slight gain at +50MHZ on the clock and 125 to 150MHZ on memory) I ran each coin for 10 minutes to see an average speed. Of course the speedsare always changing up and down. So I went with the lowest average speed.First thing I learned was buying 1080's or 1080 TI's is just a huge waste of money. Unless you really just don't have the space. The best hash for the cash are the EVGA 1060's you get about 20 MH/s on Ethereum, 1080 SC 23, 1080 TI 28 to 30. So for about $310 you get 20 to 22 (using the GUI - higher in console miners) for $700 to $1,000 you get 23, for $1,100 to $1,400 you get 28!Three EVGA GTX 1060's get 60 to 66 MH/s for... less
