VPN'S, Internet Blockers, Personal Security...
With all the recent people being caught doing the stuff they have been doing for awhile now. Google, Facebook, Apple, NSA, FBI, IRS, DHS and the list goes on for miles. They have been monitoring, hacking viewing everyone's personal/private information for many different reasons.
The government, well they are the government. And those that can't be trusted never trust. :)
It has gotten much worse with the dictator obama and his wackos.
Google, Facebook & Apple, do it more for just making you worth more when they sell you. The more detailed information they have on you, the more you are worth when they sell you. Yes it is ILLEGAL, yes they get caught but never go to court. (In the United States) I'm hoping most people now know why. :)

About five years ago, I got a hold of a picture, sent it on a private message on FB. Soon after my FB account was locked. I had to call and talk to them about what I had done wrong? Facebook told me it was the picture I sent. I asked what?? That was in a PRIVATE MESSAGE? Then they told me, they watch for key words and check those messages. I replied with really? What key word made you read mine and delete it and my account? They didn't reply, but did give me my account back.
The message said “that bitch is a felon” I don't see anything in there that would make them pull it aside to read. So you know they read them all :(
The picture I sent was a mug shot of Michelle Obama, she was disbarred for insurance fraud, jury tampering not sure on that. So I guess it was jail or lose your law license.
Now the scary part;
Not only was the site I got the picture from gone, my message gone, but the picture was gone off my personal computer! I was so ready to put tin foil on my head! I got a program called NetLimiter, OMG all the IP address's (computers) that were hacking or trying to hack my system!
So then I went cyber security crazy! Yes most of my friends all say “well I don't have anything to hide” But that is not the point. The point is it's PRIVATE, my stuff and not illegal! They can't stop thousands of tons of drugs from coming into the US daily but they need to watch you? Go catch some real bad guys!
So here are a few things you can do to keep those you don't want on your computer off your computer!
#1 Avoid the sites that you know, track and hack you, stay off the stupid porn sites.
Known trackers and hackers, Google, FaceBook, Apple. All three have paid hundreds of millions in fines in other counties.
#2 Internet Browsers: Use the most recent version always, use browsers that are known for security. Not on TV, pop up ads, attacked as junk-ware on everything you try to install.

#4 File Encryption: There are lots of really good file encryption programs. Down side NEVER lose the encryption key!
Make sure to keep it on a thumb drive, I would say 3 thumb drives, at three different locations. If you lose that key your never seeing your files again.
