    Didn't take long I ended up with a 2950x I'm not too thrilled with the 2990wx and don't really have the money for it anyway. Pretty much the best I've had for a CPU got tired of running out of PCIe lanes I'm a storage speed addict lol.

      beast-usa (Admin) Well I haven't upgraded yet for the same reason I'm seeing on the AMD cpu's.

      I will stick with Intel unless I see an AMD that can in the real world out run an Intel. I don't know one person...  more

      beast-usa (Admin) GRRR did another update and the dam comments are limited text again!!!
      "One I can dump NP "Adobe Photo Shop" but the others I like. LOL Once those work in Linux I can upgrade and dump Windows 100%"

    Ryzen is still a baby its good if it serves your purpose but Intel is better in certain situations. The price is a good offset and usually the deciding factor. Can't wait to see how well they do on the new fab there are supposedly huge MHz advantages...  more

      I agree it's good to see AMD take a swing at intel. It should be interesting to see what happens in the next year. If I had the cash I would buy both, run both like most people run things 24/7 and run them on real world work. Nothing...  more
