Windows 10 Key Commands

  • These commands are about the same in Windows 8, 8.1 & 10.
    The only difference the Win key in 8 and 8.1 take you to the start screen. 

    The same Windows Key + Letter commands that worked in Windows 8 and 8.1 work in Windows 10
    WINDOW Key Commands WIN = Windows Key (between Ctrl & Alt keys)
    WIN = Windows Start Menu
    WIN+C = Side bar & time & date
    WIN+D = Switching desktops, start screen, desktop
    WIN+F = Opens file search
    WIN+H = Share from your desktop
    WIN+I = Computer settings, fast access to shutdown or sleep
    WIN+L = Instant to Windows 10 lock screen
    WIN+P = Screen setting for multiple screens
    WIN+Q = Brings up Windows 10 app's and app search
    WIN+R = Windows 10 run command (also under WIN+X)
    WIN+U = Windows 10 Ease of Access
    WIN+W = Windows 10 Settings
    WIN+X = Bottom left list of programs

    Motherboard: Asus Prime TRX40-Pro.
    CPU: AMD Threadripper 3970X@Auto OC.
    Water Block: EK Velocity sTR4 copper & nickel.
    Radiator: Thermaltake Pacific CL429 64mm pure copper.
    Water Pump & Res: 320 GPH Pond Pump, 5 Gallon Reservoir.
    Memory: 64 gigs Corsair Vengeance DDR4-3600 18-19-19-39 CR1.
    Video Card: Asus TUF AMD RX 6900XT OC 16 gigs
    Hard Drives: 1 Crucial 256gig M550, 2 Crucial 2TB SSD's,
    1 WD 10TB 256meg cache, 1 WD 5TB 128meg cache, 2 Seagate 4TB 256meg cache.
    Power Supply: Corsair 1050 watt SINGLE RAIL.
    OS's: LINUX Xubuntu 20.04 LTS x64 and Windows 10 Pro.
