How to check the version of your internet browser

    How do you up-date or check the version of your browser?

    Most browsers will be the same, look for Help, under Help look for Check for updates.
    If you don't see that, look for About XXXX browser

    Slimjet 32 or 64 bit
    Click the little gear in the upper right corner. Then move your mouse over Help Center, left click Check update it will check and tell you if you need an update.

    Comodo Dragon:
    Click the dragon in the upper left corner. Then click About Comodo Dragon, it will check and tell you if you need an update.

    Maxthon:
    Top right you will see three bars (mouse over says menu), click the menu.
    Then click About..., Then on the bottom click Check for Updates.

    Opera:
    Top left menu, click help, then click Check for Updates.

    FireFox: (Depending on your menu type.)
    Orange Bar upper left side (Firefox) click the bar, then on the right side go to Help, then
    About FireFox, click Check for Updates.
    Menu Bar, click Help, then click About Firefox, then click Check for Updates.

    Internet Explorer: (IE 10)
    If you have your menu bar showing:
    Click Help, then click About Internet Explorer, check the box that says "Install New Versions Automatically"
    If you don't have your menu bar showing:
    Click the little circle-gear top right side, then About Internet Explorer, check the box that says "Install New Versions Automatically"
    If you are using an older version, 9, 8, 7 or 6. You will need to run Windows updates.

    Safari:
    Check here for the lastest version, http://filehippo.com/download_safari/
    http://support.apple.com/downloads/#internet
    If you are using a Mac, depending on which version of the OS you have will be which version of safari you can use. When you install safari, if you install the extra bloat-ware, it will install an update program that will always be running in the backgroundusing resources. But it will tell you when to update your apple products.
