    Facebook Unresponsive Script Freezing Firefox

    Steps to Fix Facebook Unresponsive Script Freezing Firefox

    1. In the Firefox address/location bar, type about:config and press Enter.
    Click "I'll be careful, I promise" to continue to the about:configure page.

    2. In the about:configure page, search for this: dom.max_script_run_time and double click on the line of dom.max_script_run_time & dom.max_chrome_script_run_time.

    3. In the Enter integer value prompt, type 20
    (if you still have script errors facebook needs more control of your system, increase the number to 30)

    4. Press ok and restart FireFox

    To set it back to Default follow the above steps, right click on dom.max_script_run_time & dom.max_chrome_script_run_time and choose Default.
    Restart Fire Fox again.

    WARNING setting your browser to work with facebook scripts, may cause normal sites to run slower. :( Most sites do not need to run so many background scripts.

    And always remember having these type of pages open puts your computer at risk. :( If any site is accessing your computer you run the risk of being hacked. I know no one wants to hear that but I know personally so many people that have had their entire bank account/s drained after being hacked through Facebook. The safe thing to do if you must use it, open the page do what you need to do, close the page, clean internet cache or at least close the page.

    I hate those calls :( They have lost everything, I tell them why ... first words "Everyone does that" Well not me ever :)
