Burning Folders, Files or Pictures to a DVD or CD

This was done in Windows 8 Pro and should be the same for Windows XP to Windows 10

CLICK ANY PICTURE TO SEE A LARGER SIZE - CLICK AGAIN TO CLOSE IT

Start out by inserting a BLANK DVD or CD into your DVD/CD/Blueray burner.
Open your Windows File Explorer (My Computer, Computer)
After you have inserted the disc, left on the folder you want to add.
(hold the CTRL key and left click each file you want to add if you only want to add files, pictures)
Then right click on that folder/s or group of files or pictures and left click Copy.

Now right click on your DVD/CD/Blueray burner drive.
    Then left click on Paste

This window should pop-up (if it does not your disc or burner may have a problem)
Add a Disc Title: My DVD (by default it will just be todays date)
Select how you want it burned.
(Like a USB Flash drive will work on most WINDOWS computers)
(With a CD/DVD player is safer and should work on every OS MAC, Linux...)
    Left click Next

Ok now it gets tricky LOL a notice will pop up in the task bar (bottom right by the time & date)
If you catch and click that OK. If not it's not a problem :)
Go back to your Windows File Explorer window, look for your DVD/CD/Blueray drive.
You should see your file/s or folder/s. Select (left click) the folder/s or file/s,
then right click on them. On the pop up menu Select Burn to disc.

A new box will pop up, you can change the name again if needed.
If not just left click Next. (Recording Speed I wouldn't change it unless you want it slower)

You should see this box while it's burning. How long it takes depends on how many file/s or folder/s
and the speed of your computer and burner.

Once it has finished you should see this box. If you want more then one copy Select the
box Yes, burn these files to another disc. If you only wanted one copy just left click Finish. :)

Then I would put the disc back in the computer and left click the folder/s or file/s just to make
it works fine. You are all done! :)

    Any questions please ask.
If you like the help :) tweet it or plus 1 :)
