Your Internet Speed Mega-Bytes - Mega-bits
Don't get duped by your ISP :)
I see so many people confuse Mb "Mega-bits" with MB "Mega-Bytes"
So I made this simple reference guide. :)
MB = Mega-Bytes 20/MB = 20 Mega-Bytes "MBps - Mega-Bytes Per Second"
Mb = Mega-bits 160/Mbps = 20 Mega-Bytes "Mbps - Mega-bits Per Second"
KB = Kilo-Bytes 20480/KBps = 160/Mbps = 20 Mega-Bytes "KBps - Kilo-Bytes Per Second"
Kb = Kilo-bits 163840/Kbps = 20480 Kilo-Bytes = 160/Mbps = 20 Mega-Bytes "Kbps - Kilo-bits Per Second"
So if your internet speed test says:
100/Mbps down & 20/Mbps up:
Your MEGA-BYTES are 12.5/MBps down & 2.5/MBps up
50/Mbps down & 4/Mbps up:
Your MEGA-BYTES are 6.25/MBps down & 0.5/MBps up.
5000/KBps down & 500/KBps up:
Your MEGA-BYTES are 4.88/MBps down & 0.488/MBps up.
5000/Kbps down & 500/Kbps up:
Your Mega-Bytes are 0.6103/MBps & 0.0610/MBps up.
