First this is for computer gaming.
If someone on a console wants to join in great!
#1 Your mouse, ANY BALL MOUSE, 4+ buttons, with scrol wheel. Will destroy any,
YES ANY drag mouse. They make some pretty good drag, gaming mice, but just not fast enough.
Your MOUSE should, fire, reload, go prone, bring up your sights, melee (wheel) No wheel use Z
But truth be told they are just to slow.
#2 Your keyboard, the keys you use. W - S - D - A, strafe, shift or control.
will just get you killed over and over again. It's just not a natural or FAST place to
have your hand. Look at the placement of you hand? Think anyone could type 200 wpm with
their hand in that position? Keeping your hand flat & natural, is much faster than bunched
up in the top left corner. Then reaching down to ctrl, shift, to run, strafe, crouch...
It's just way to SLOW
Speed Keys :)
B = froward, V = backwards, C = Crouch (don't toggle crouch hold crouch),
X = Switch Weapons, Z = Melee, Grenades, Flashlights... depending on the game.
D = doors, enter, exit, use, depending on the game. S & A, same flashlight,
grenades, equipment, health... depending on the game.
F = Strafe Left, G = Strafe Right
At first if you have always used the default keys, this will seem hard. But once your hand is sitting
natural, on B, V, C, X, you will see your speed double or triple!
Internet:
Of course, they add lag assist to most games. But with no lag assist, low ping is KING!
Screen:
Big screens are great, high res is great, to high just gets you killed more :) Things will be smaller
and harder to hit. So never res yourself into shooting at fly's :) 1200 - 1600 x 700 - 1200.
1600x1200 should be the very smallest you play, higher res then that without aim assist, aimbot, some
type of cheat. Just makes it very very hard to see your target at any distance.
POV:
Again to high, gives you more then you need to see. Then you don't see the things you should.
Stock setting in most games, will be the fastest for that game. (80 to 90)
