Paragon Hard Disk Manager - Restore - Create OS Image.

The video I hope is not to confusing :)

This should walk you through using Paragon Hard Disk Manager to create & restore image back-ups of your operating system.
Re-sizing and making new partitions. Changing folders setting & locations.

Paragon won't finish doing a back-up while windows is running?

This will be in Windows 7 & 8.
Check your system tray (bottom right - little white arrow) for running programs. Most programs will not stop paragon. But some live, sync, cloud, messenger, auto update programs that keep writing to the drive. May cause Paragon to sit in one spot waiting for that program to finish which it never will :)

Easy fix :)
Right click and close everything in the bottom right of the task bar. If you don't see anything click the little white arrows. --> Itunes, yahoo, dropbox, skydrive, google, realplayer, nova-screen, sugar-sync, anti-virus...

When the back-up finishes restart your computer. And this only happens with certain things running in the back ground.

The only other cause is not enough free space on the drive you're trying to save your back-up image on.
